Transforming lives by sending refurbished wheelchairs throughout Asia

10 NPOs from across Japan involved in distributing wheelchairs will gather in Niseko (Hokkaido) September 3-5. Wheelchairs of Hope will be sending the Board of Director's Vice Chair as well as several volunteers. A report will follow.

We recently received some new work aprons from our friends at Bovis Lend-Lease Japan. They will be well used - thank you!

Since Mito Cleaning Day was started over two years ago, many members have been faithfully coming. Through one family, Wheelchairs of Hope was able to hold a talk in the Ethics class at the school where one of the child volunteers attends. The 38 grade six students and a few teachers listened intently to the lesson on volunteering and about Wheelchairs of Hope.
